If I were to obtain an AA transfer degree that is regionally accredited in the northwest, would that degree let me transfer to universities in other regions of the country? My husband is in the military and therefore we may not be in the same place when the time comes for me to continue school. Please help! Thanks!|||You would have to check with the receiving institution - each one varies, even in state. It is quite possible that if it is regionally accredited and your region accreditation requirements are the same as the receiving institution - you should be okay. If the receiving institution doesn't have a corresponding program, you may have a real problem in having those credits apply to anything in particular.
I transferred from 1 in state school to another in state school and the receiving school agreed to accept all of my credits but they required 2 lower level classes before I could move on to the upper level classes. Go figure!
