Juan Mata set to join Arsenal FC - New transfer record for Arsenal FC?

Skysports Spanish Correspondent Gulliam Balgue and Graham Hunter have jus announced that everything is in place for Mata to join Arsenal on a deal believed to be in the region of 拢17.5 Million and its now up to the player to decide and he does favor a move to Arsenal over Spurs.

He is a top quality player, we鈥檝e seen that in the Under-21鈥檚 and in the Spanish league last season. I think the way Arsenal play would suit his game," - Jack Wilshere

Arsenal fans wat do u think ???|||Does it Mata? Indeed it does, especially since he hasn't signed on the dotted line YET. You're getting a little ahead of yourself and it would be hilarious if he signed for Spurs after this and your personal attack (On FS) on Spurs ;)|||I would welcome him to the gunners. Mata has great vision and has a wonderful cross, he would link up very well with wilshere, cesc (if he stays), nasri (if he stays) and newly acquired gervinho.

Arsenal is a better fit that the stupid spurs.|||haha thats not even twice as much as what we paid for Stan Collymore in 1995 brufz lol

8.5 million times 2 is 17 million, alright fair enough brufz - that is more than twice.

but 17.5 is a bargain in my books lol

I agree with the braire whos got the Kenny Singh Dalglish avatar lol

the man talks sense and that. cos 17.5m is what record transfers were for italian clubs in the early Ninetys lol|||17.5 million transfer record

Arsene Wenger does some great business, Henry and Bergkamp werent even that expensive and they were 2 of Arsenal's best players ever

great signing for Arsenal, but Wenger still needs to sign a new centerback|||still cant get over it how 拢17.5 Million is a transfer record for arsenal in these days, unbelievable! its not gonna win them any trophies though for being so cheap (yes maybe not even the holy Emirates Cup too)! ^_^|||Big spenders that Arsenal.

I hope you get him . you need the help. Sorry about the EC|||Not on skysports.|||Where you getting this from?
