What are the most progressive public colleges and universities in the u.s. ?

I plan to transfer to a university out of state, to start a new life when I get my RN license and some college credits behind me.





I really want to move out west. Mainly Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado....pretty much any of the states in that region.





Whats college life like and what are some of the most progressive schools?|||The most progressive in the nation are not in the areas where you want to be. They're Oberlin (near Cleveland) and Bard (near Albany). They're also pretty expensive, as private liberal arts colleges, and quite selective. Not that you should let either be a deterrent if they seem like they fit your needs.
