Where would you expect seed dormancy to be less common?

a. where the seed has special requirements for germination, such as drying, exposure to cold, or disruption of the seed coat

b. a temperate climate where seeds mature in the late summer and face a harsh winter

c. in warm, moist, tropical regions, where environmental conditions are suitable for germination throughout the year

d. in a situation wherein the seed is transferred to an inhospitable region|||C

a simply way of explaining dormancy is that it refers to a state in which the organism is inactivated (or like hibernating) and is waiting for optimal (the best) conditions to activate ("become alive" or wake up from hibernation) and start "its life"

so if the conditions are suitable for germination year round there is no need for the seed to remain in a dormant state.
