My college is regionally accredited, will my credits transfer?

My college is regionally accredited through Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and I want to attend a college in a different region (the North) will my credits transfer, or do they need to be within that region only?|||Regional accreditation is the best kind of accreditation; it means your credits will transfer anywhere. National accreditation is a lower form of accreditation and credits often won't transfer. I know, it seems backwards.
