What is the the most reliable way to transfer funds to someone in Germany?

This person would make my life a lot easier if they would just get a friggin paypay account, but no. Where are the Western Union agents in Germany, I was told most post offices. What will they need besides an ID, or passport? How reliable is this? Do I have to pinpoint a region or post office? Please help......|||Meet up with the person in Germany...|||How about a direct bank transfer? All you need will be the person's IBAN (international bank account number) and BIC (bank's international code). I could give you mine right away here in public, because it's no secret and can't be misused. What you'll need, on your side, is a bank that transfers money internationally at reasonable fees. Within the euro zone, banks have agreed under pressure from the European government that transfer fees will be the same as for a domestic transaction, so if I send money to any country that has the euro as its currency, the fees will be 30 cents. From a non-euro country, fees will be higher and daily exchange rates will apply.

Do NOT, and I repeat NOT trust western union! If a seller is not willing to give you his banking details, there's most probably something wrong with the deal. As I said before, if I sold an item to you I'd be ready and willing to give you my bank account details so you could safely deposit your money into my account, and we could reverse the transaction if there would be any problem. With WU, you can't.
