How much does it cost to transfer from a GB bank to a New Zealand bank and how would i go about it?

I need to know all about transfering money in about the region of 拢400 to a bank account in NZ thanks. :)|||Would'nt cost much.If it's a one off transaction a bankers check might be best. The bank handles the whole procedure. You pay the bank and the recipient collects equivilent too 400 pounds in NZ.Cost about 20quid|||Speak to your existing Bank Manager, arrangement can be made to open an account for you and transfer the money to the NZ bank account.

The bank that handles the transfer (your own bank) will take a commission - you will have to ask them what that is.|||Go into your bank and ask for a international transfer form. You will need the IBAN (International banking number) of the receiving bank in NZ. If you dont know it you need to find out. Its basically a long string of text and numbers that tells the banking system the physical location of the receiving bank and the receipients bank account number. It will cost about 25gbp or 40gbp if you want it there quicker. Sending a bank check/draft is so long winded and will take forever and it is difficult to trace if it goes missing. You do not need a special bank account they will simply take 400gbp from you account, plus the transfer fee and convert it into the foreign currency at the rate that day.
