It is seen EPF a/c transfer from one region to other region takes lot of time.Why cannot do online transfer?

Eventhou EPF(Employee Provident Fund) trust is one throught India,if somebody transferred from one company to other company with a change of place and would like to transfer amount instead of withdrawal,one region has to send cheque for that amount to other region and has to credit into individual account.Instead as trust is one all over India with different regions, they should be able to transfer the amount easily to other region thro online and not by cheques.In one case it is seen that cheque is issued for transfer from one region to other region and this region not bothered to remit in the new account.One has to visit many times to regularise.Is it not possible to transfer from one?With so much corpus fund with EPF, they should simplify the procedure for transfer for transferring the account to other new account of same person.Suggestions for getting easy transfer pl?|||The problem at a future date a query like this "that your money from the previous region in the western state while you had worked in in xyz company had not been credited in you account. please furnish the details of credit, date of transfer, no,. bank, Copy of advice sent to you or any letter intimating transfer " You might have forgotten the details and try to trace it fro old file.





The delay is not vital, see that it is credited to your account and also correctly.
