What is wrong with my Banette (Pokemon)?

You see me and my boyfriend are going to battle, and I'm trying to raise my Banette to level 100 against his Deoxys(100), and I'm trying to use Hp up, Calcium, Carbos, and Zinc on my Banette. Banette (named Darkle) seems not to be affected by these. As I tried to use them on her, a message appears as "It won't have any effect."


And I simply CANNOT lose against him. I must destroy my boyfriend in Pokemon.

are all in it's maximum.I know it sucks but i guess it's just the way it is.even I am mad about it|||There are things called EV's. 4 EV's equals one stat point. Each pokemon can have 510 EV's. Calcium carbos and zinc and all that are 10 EV's each for the stat. They can only be used for the first 100 EV's in each stat. Each stat can only have 255 EV's. If you want to really destroy him you'll have to lean how to breed for Nature and EV's and max out the stats.
